One small business loan creates five new jobs!

Merv Boyance's employer relocated and he found himself faced with a tough employment decision. With his excellent service background and knowledge Merv decided to open his own business.
When Merv came to SMHA with his plans to open Boyance Air Conditioning and requested a loan, SMHA was excited.
SMHA's affiliate Southern Mutual Financial Services, Inc. (SMFS) provided him with a business loan allowing him to purchase a truck needed to pull his equipment trailer.
Merv's business created five new full time jobs. Two of the new employees are African American women, an electrician and an air conditioning technician -- a first in Acadiana.
Since the loan, Merv has a huge customer base due to twenty-four hour service and customer satisfaction.
