Governor Signs Legislation Limiting SMHA's Liability

Governor Kathleen Blanco signed HB 884 by Rep. Sydnie Mae Durand to limit SMHA's liability when SMHA gratuitously provides disaster relief or recovery services following a declared state of emergency. Lorna Bourg and Helen Vinton attended the governor's bill signing at the state capitol along with Rep. Durand.
