SMHA And Partners In New Orleans

Southern Mutual Help Association, Inc. (SMHA) visited the home of new homeowner, Dana Leon, while attending the NeighborWorks Convening in New Orleans this summer. Southern Mutual Financial Services, Inc. (SMFS), the lending arm of SMHA, is helping to rebuild New Orleans, in partnership with the Mayor’s office and Providence Community Housing. In only two years, the partnership between the three organizations has brought nearly $3.4 million to New Orleans and created 26 new homeowners!
